The grounds were wet and saturated heading into the weekend but mother nature smiled on us and we had 8 days of dry weather over the 10 day preceding the 2017 Eastern Ontario Bluegrass Festival !

our campers began rolling in on Tuesday and didn't stop until the last unit arrived on Saturday morning

This year we had two stages to get ready. one for the campers open mic.,the campers country hoedown and our workshops in the Lombardy Agricultural hall and the other, our main stage in the spacious Lombardy cattle pavilion.

"the campers open mic. night", hosted by nellie holmes & pat moore on wednesday night, featured many of our campers & band members and wAs well attended.

next up was "the campers country hoedown" on Thursday featuring the honky tonk and western swing sounds of the telegrams.

our diverse line up of bands, 16 in all, performed 34 sets of music over the Victoria day may long weekend including 3 full concerts, 4 one hour sets and 27 forty min. sets, including, "a very special Sunday afternoon matinee" featuring a reunion with one of the Ottawa valley's most popular & decorated groups ever!

none of this occurs without our MC's, our sound men and our partners & Suppliers. For a full listing please go to our "partners" page on this site. If you have the opportunity, visit them and, while there, tell them you heard about them at the Eastern Ontario Bluegrass Festival!

a small sample of pics taken of our tireless volunteers. We don't have pics of them all but we know who they are and wish to convey our utmost gratitude for the effort they put forth on our behalf! Don't forget to thank them in person if you have the opportunity!

if you have 3 or 4 hours a day and would be interested in volunteering at next year's EOBF, please contact Christine or dan at 613-928-2762 0r on-line at eobluegrass@gmail.com
