our campers began rolling in on Tuesday and didn't stop until the last unit arrived on Saturday morning
This year we had two stages to get ready. one for the campers open mic.,the campers country hoedown and our workshops in the Lombardy Agricultural hall and the other, our main stage in the spacious Lombardy cattle pavilion.
"the campers open mic. night", hosted by nellie holmes & pat moore on wednesday night, featured many of our campers &band members and was well attended.
next up was "the campers country hoedown" on Thursday featuring the honky tonk and western swing sounds of the telegrams.
diverse line up of bands, 16 in all, performed 34 sets of music over the Victoria day may long weekend including 3 full concerts, 4 one hour sets and 27 forty min. sets, including, "a very special Sunday afternoon matinee" featuring a reunion with one of the Ottawa valley's most popular & decorated groups ever!
